A federal agency struggled under the weight of a 30-year-old application for investigating wage and hour disputes that was expensive and unwieldy to maintain. Faraday developed a low-code Appian solution designed to help the organization efficiently track, analyze, and resolve complex investigations. The solution provided a single, integrated view of all case details – encompassing evidence, individuals involved, and communication – and greatly streamlined case review. An intuitive role-based workflow ensured that cases were thoroughly investigated with appropriate safeguards. Robust analytics gave users the ability to identify patterns and perform risk analysis. Native mobile functionality enabled investigators to efficiently investigate and document cases on-site, resulting in improved efficiency.

A large government contractor's existing Excel-based system for documenting and reporting the completion of contract deliverable requirements relied heavily on manual steps, lacked security and auditability, resulting in an unreliable process with poor visibility. This process exposed the company to significant legal liability and hindered the company's ability to deliver on billions of dollars in contracts. Faraday implemented an Appian solution to implement a role based workflow for users to log completion of requirements, generate and send customer deliverables and the ability of management to monitor statuses with a unified dashboard. Key outcomes included a proactive approach for ensuring timely fulfillment of requirements and accountability for on-time completion.

In the meantime, it would continue to report inaccurate quantities and locations, resulting in an inability to manage their supply chain. Particularly concerning was that this company's primary line of business is famously low margin, and requires accurate inventories to avoid waste and lost sales. Faraday built an Appian solution to improve visibility by identifying and highlighting inaccuracies and leveraged RPA to fix inventory inaccuracies. This solution relied on the data fabric to incorporate real-time inventory updates from a variety of sources, enabling the resolution of issues before they could impact operations.
